Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
These terms govern your use of the Keptly app and website. By using Keptly, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our privacy policy.
Using Keptly
Keptly is a self-imposed focus tool. You choose what to block and when, and you are responsible for how you use it. Keptly is intended to help you manage your own device and attention; it is not a substitute for professional advice.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Subscriptions and payments
Keptly offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Payments and renewals are handled by the app store you signed up through (Google Play, or Apple's App Store when available), under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date, which you can do in your app store account settings. Trial and refund terms follow the applicable app store's rules.
Commitment costs
Some features let you set a small penalty for giving up a commitment early. Where a charge applies, it will be made clear to you in the app before it takes effect. Any such amounts are separate from your subscription.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the app: don't attempt to break, disrupt, or reverse-engineer it, and don't use it to harm others or break the law.
Availability
We work to keep Keptly reliable but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change as the app develops.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Keptly is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
