Always. Keptly is self-imposed. It creates friction to help you pause, rather than trapping you in a session.
Does Keptly work offline?
Core focus features are designed to work on your device. Some features, such as account and subscription checks, may require a connection.
Blocking & permissions
How does blocking work?
On Android, Keptly uses the device capabilities and permissions you explicitly enable to identify and block the apps and sites on your chosen list during a session. The exact experience can differ by device and operating system.
Why does calendar focus need access?
Only if you turn it on. Keptly needs access to the calendar you select so it can schedule your focus windows around those events. Read the privacy policy for the current data handling details.
Commitments
What is a commitment cost?
It is an optional feature intended to add a little weight to ending a focus commitment early. It is separate from a subscription.
Will I be charged without knowing?
No. Before any commitment cost can apply, Keptly will show the amount, the trigger, where it goes, and the relevant terms. You must opt in and set the limit yourself.
Privacy
Is my focus data private?
Keptly is designed to keep focus data on your device wherever possible. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. See the privacy policy for detail.
Can I withdraw permissions?
Yes. You can change device permissions in your phone settings. This may affect the related feature, such as calendar-led focus or blocking.

Which phones will Keptly support?
Android is the first beta platform. iOS is planned, and we will explain feature availability clearly as it develops.
When will it launch?
